I prefer not to restrict myself to any certain set of rules when it comes to creation. By proclaiming that I am an artist who does this and works in said medium, I bind myself to my word, limiting myself and neglecting my true nature as an artist. Which is, to experiment and explore.

However, in the studio, you’d often find me playing with words to fill my melodies, hunched over my sewing machine, or bouncing around between the two all while planning another third thing. Beyond the studio and the sewing machine, I enjoy curating fulfilling spaces for like-minded creative individuals. My most recent project Group Chat was a year long recurring monthly mixed bill show composed of over eight different acts for each event. We became residents at Hot Mama’s Canteen, running 13 Group Chat events in total from May 2022 to May 2023.

Outside of my solo work, I frequently worldbuild with co-collaborator Chango4. Our first adventure was a 9 track album to Planet 9 in 2020. We continued to weave our fibers together throughout our month-long residency at The Space Between in 2021- thanks to UB Arts Collaboratory. When we release work, we use the acronym “C4w2'' to represent our dual effort.  Additionally, I am the Gallery Assistant & Grant Coordinator at the Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art- or BICA. I am also a member of BICA School’s first cohort of artists.
