Alexandria Ciel
Operations & Program Coordinator
Alexandria Ciel is an art historian, curator, and exhibition technician based in Buffalo, New York. She received her MA in Art History from Brooklyn College in 2012 and has worked in the gallery scenes of both New York City and Buffalo ever since.
At the core of her mission lies the pursuit of powerful community impact through art. Drawing on over a decade of experience in arts education, exhibition design, and public programming, Alexandria uses her background in arts administration to captivate, educate, and foster meaningful connections within local and global art communities.
She has curated numerous exhibitions across Western New York, often incorporating intergenerational, hands-on art-making components that promote creativity and inclusivity. She is also engaged with MITHILAsmita, an international nonprofit that supports traditional women artists in rural India, helping to elevate cultural heritage through sustainable, ethical art collaborations.
In addition to her curatorial work, Alexandria is part of the team at the Massachusetts Avenue Project, where she supports food justice initiatives aimed at community wellness and equitable access.
