Alex Cassetti
Alex Cassetti is a photographic artist based in Central NY. He received his MFA from the University at
Buffalo in 2023 and a BFA in Photography and Video in 2016 at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New
York, NY. After graduating in 2016, Cassetti was given the Royal College of Art award, where he spent
one semester studying at the RCA and the London School of Fashion (London, UK) in the MA in
Photography programs. Cassetti has exhibited his photographs in solo shows at Greene House Gallery
(Brooklyn, NY) in 2019 and FORM Gallery (Hempstead, NY) in 2014. Selected group shows are at the
Pulse Art Fair, (New York, NY), Photoville (New York NY), RuptureXIBIT (London, UK) Ugly Duck Gallery
(London, UK), and Foley Gallery (New York, NY). Recently Cassetti was a runner up recipient grant in
photography from Light Work (Syracuse NY). Cassetti will also be showing his images from his Broadway
Is Closed series at the Port Authority Bus Terminal (New York, NY) in 2024 as a public works exhibition
organized by ChaShaMa. Recent solo shows include Mirabo Press Gallery (Buffalo, NY), CEPA Gallery
(Buffalo, NY) in 2023 and C. Stuart and Jane H. Hunt Gallery (Buffalo NY) in 2024.
